What this tool collects

Nothing. Dotenvdiff runs entirely in your browser. The env files you paste are parsed, compared, and displayed within the page. No data — not a single key, value, or character — is ever sent to a server, stored in a database, or transmitted over a network.

What this site collects

This site does not use cookies, tracking scripts, analytics services, or third-party embeds. The hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set its own operational headers and cache metadata required to serve the page, but no personal data is collected, logged, or shared by the operators of this tool.

Local storage

The site uses the browser's localStorage only to persist your theme preference (light or dark mode). No other data is written to local storage. Clearing your browser data will remove this preference — no account or identifier is involved.

Data you export

If you download the comparison as a CSV file, that file is generated entirely within your browser and saved to your device via a standard browser download. No copy is retained by the site or any server.

Third-party services

This site loads font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for typography. Google may log the request as part of its normal operations. No other third-party service receives any data from your use of this tool.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the revision. No separate notification will be provided.

This tool is operated by Agen2ic, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. No postal address, phone number, or email address is published at this time. If you have a privacy concern, direct it to the operator through the means the operator has made available.
